What is the DC Family Education Expo?
The DC Family Education Expo is an annual community event that offers parents and adult learners the oppurtunity to gain valuable information and resources that support academic achievement and youth development. The 2010 DCFEE theme is "Healthy Bodies/HealthyMinds". Join us as we focus on education, health, wellness and the fight against childhood obesity.
Attendees particpate in exhibits, information sessions, and hands-on learning activities.
To ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to be engaged as an active participant, translation and interpretation services are offered to parents who speak limited English.
Only by working and learning together can parents and professionals build partnerships and share responsibility in the decisions that affect families and communities.
Join us for the 3rd annual DC Family Education Expo, hosted this year by the University of the District of Columbia.
