The DC Family Education Expo is an educational event for students of all ages in the District of Columbia and their families.

What is the DC Family Education Expo?

The DC Family Education Expo is an annual community event to offer parents and adult learners the oppurtunity to gain valuable information and resources that support academic achievement and youth development.  Because the DC has one of the highest adolescent obesity rates in teh country,  we have added a health and wellness component.

Attendees particpate in exhibits, information sessions, and hands-on learning activities.

To ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to be engaged as an active participant, translation and interpretation services are offered to parents who speak limited English.  Only by working and learning together can parents and professionals build partnerships and share responsibility in the decisions that affect families and communities.
